My name is Brooke, I like to PAINT!!!  If you don’t have kids or watch Yo Gabba Gabba I apologise as you probably won’t get that one :)

Welcome to my little corner of the interwebs.

So you want to know a little bit about me. Well,  I am a self taught Mixed Media Artist. I currently live in the beautiful city of Brisbane in Australia.

I am, before all else a dedicated Stuck at Home Mum. I have two little munchkins who keep me very busy and superbly entertained most of the time. When I’m not chasing them around or playing crazy made up games with them I love to draw and paint and create. It’s just what makes me happy and that’s what life is all about isn’t it?

Why the name? Well I’ve always said that if life gets to be too much for me I will just run away somewhere, dye my hair purple and change my name to Violet. I guess now that I have kids and can’t really do that anymore art has become my little escape. Still, I wouldn’t mind having purple hair. :)

I have recently opened up an Etsy and a Madeit store to sell my art prints and jewellery (coming soon) to a wider audience (well hopefully anyway).
